Simple Vegetarian cheeseburger and chips at home

Who doesn’t like take-outs? We all want a little once in a while, but did you know that when you are on a budget or just not feeling like going out, you can put together any burger from the comfort of your home. It only takes about 30 minutes of your time and some ingredients.

Ingredients:

100g cheddar cheese

1 fry’s vegan patty

1 bun

1 tomato

1 onion

Half cup lettuce

A few Gherkins (extremely optional)

150g frozen chips

Aromat seasoning (or some salt and pepper)

Soft drink of choice

Tomato sauce or another condiment

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Set your chips on your baking tray and let them bake for a total of 20 minutes to 25 minutes. When your chips have baked for the firsts 10 minutes, begin preparing your burger. Put your frying pan on the stove and spray it with a cooking spray or add a little oil. Then fry your patty, give it 3 to 4 minutes per side. By the time it is ready, your chips should be almost ready. Cut your tomato into circles as well as your onion and gherkins. Put them aside. Then grate the cheese or slice it, whatever tickles your fancy here.

Cut your bun right in the middle and butter it up. Then layer your lettuce as nicely or roughly as you like it on the bottom part. Put your patty on top with some cheese, then set your tomato, onion, and gherkins. If you are like me, add more cheese but remember calories if you are counting them. Then add the top part of the bun. Lastly, set your ready vegetarian cheeseburger on a plate, chips next to it, and some tomato sauce and accompany it with your favourite cool drink.
