Easy breakfast oats cookies

For this recipe, you can blend a cup of oats if you do not have oats flour. You may also use a coffee grinder if there’s no blender.


500g Oats flour

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons baking powder

200ml milk

50g butter/margarine

60g brown sugar

50g chocolate for garnishing

Method and preparation:

Preheat the oven at 180 degree celsius.

Mix first the dry ingredients in a bowl. Crush the chocolate into powder or small pieces. Melt the butter. The butter should not boil; gently melt at low heat. When it has melted, add it to the dry ingredients and mix gently. Crack the eggs into the mixture and mix well. Then slowly add milk until the desired texture is achieved. It should be a bit creamy, not drippy. Then put it out into the tray with a spoon. They will shape out as they bake. Garnish with chocolate and put in the oven.

Bake for 10 – 15 minutes. Then take out to cool.

Serve with milk or Greek yogurt.
